Verizon Wireless Makes A Quinceañera’s Dream Come True |

In 2009, Verizon Wireless held its second annual My Fabulous 15 contest where one lucky winner won a dream quinceañera party valued at approximately $45,000.
The fiesta also included a live performance by Pop Artist Pee Wee.
As Verizon Wireless’ Hispanic PR agency, RLPR developed a multi-layered approach to securing coverage: announcing the contest, sponsoring a Quince Expo, hosting an in-store event with Artist Pee Wee as well as announcing the winner to promote this initiative.
Influential Latina mommy bloggers also participated by contributing articles about memories of their own quinceañeras and by announcing the contest on their own blogs.
The contest garnered nearly 3,500 entries. Total media placements reached 380 and impressions totaled over three and a half million in the Spanish-language market. Coverage included top outlets including La Prensa Hispana, La Guía Familiar, Hispanic PR Blogs and others. |
