In 2009, Verizon Wireless held their second annual My Fabulous 15 contest where one lucky winner won a dream quinceañera party valued at approximately $45,000, which included a live performance by pop artist Pee Wee.

As Verizon Wireless’ Hispanic PR agency, RLPR developed a multi-layer approach to securing coverage for the contest announcement, a Quince Expo in-store event with musician Pee Wee, and winner announcement to promote this initiative.

The program received nearly 3,500 entries. Total media hits reached 380 clips and impressions totaled over 3.5 million.
The contest announcement was published in top outlets, including La Prensa Hispana online, Hispanic PR Blog and others.


Influential Latina mommy bloggers also participated by contributing articles about their own memories of their quinceañera party and the announcing the opportunity to enter the contest.
Winner announcement was published in leading newspapers, including a full page story in La Guía Familiar and ran on dozens of websites.
